Thanks,! Leiber was a tremendous writer, and I agree there isn't enough out there about him. His Fafhrd and The Grey Mouser stories are outstanding as well. He's one of those writer's who I know I'm going to enjoy the story just by seeing his name on it. I'm sure I'll do another Leiber article in the future.

Wow What a wealth of Fritz Leiber stuff you've given us there! Thank you so much. I love Leiber's hroorr & fantasy, but have always found getting info on him a bit difficult (compared to Lovecraft & co), so this is really valuable stuff. I only wish I could have been there to see him in person, but this is definitely the next best thing. Thanks again!

Hi there. This was a fantastic list. I've read some of the works but not all. I've heard from a lot of people about 'The Animal Fair' actually - sounds great.

If you've got an interest in Bloch's writing and legacy, you've got to check out this article! It's great.

I like finding obscure was when I can. One of the reasons I haven't done an H.P. Lovecraft or Edgar Allen Poe article yet is because there is already so much out there about them. Thanks for checking it out, Barry.

Obscure is right. While I may not be familiar with every author you write about, I can at least say I have heard of most of them. Not in this case. Those stories all sound very interesting.

Thanks, Skinner! Brickett Bottom was my personal favorite. I can see why it was picked up for some anthologies back in the day. Thanks for the link.

Fantastic suggestions, as always.

If anyone is interested in a sample, I did find Brickett Bottom on Project Gutenberg: http://ebooks.gutenberg.us/WorldeBookLibrary.com/brickbot.htm

I agree it wasn't a bad film. This is one of the few that I actually read the book before seeing the film. The last 100 pages or so of the book is marvelous but it was way too slow for a large section of its beginning.

Thanks, Skinner! It's a good way to give Campbell a try for a short, inexpensive story. To me, he is the absolute best there is. And although I liked this one a lot, my favorite stories of his are found in his collection ALONE WITH THE HORRORS. Looking forward to hearing your next episode of Flashcast.
